El Mero Perro aka: EMP is also known throughout The South Western United States as one of the GREAT Latino Rappers and Producers to ever grace the Underground Rap Scene and one of the first EVER Latinos to begin an online music carreer begining in 1997, with multiple online business websites gaining HITS and Posts in the high 100,000s.

Credited for coining the phrase "Dont Play The Game If You Cant Handle The Pain!" and also becoming a megalythic Music industry leader in the state of Colorado.

El Mero Perro began his professional music carreer in 1994, but was performing small venues even before this. In the late 1990's he was also known as one of the original UNFORGOTTEN Ridaz (Unforgotten Records) which in turn became an international success with thier international releases of "The Arrival"(BMG/AME) and "Infiltration".

He departed from The Unforgotten Records label in 2001 and began persueing his own buisness ventures which lead him to create and own NFAMS Records which was later purchased by VIDA TRUNCADA Music & Entertainment LLC in early 2009.

EL MERO PERRO has performed shoulder to shoulder on stage with many of the music industries GREAT Artists and has opened and toured for acts such as
BABY BASH, LIL ROB, S.P.M, Lighter Shade Of Brown, Kid Frost, West Side Connection, Snoop Dogg, Chingo Bling etc. and has performed in STADIUM venues all through out the United States.

In 2010, El Mero Perro released his first ever solo debut RAP/ HIP HOP album "KING OF THE MOUNTAINS : EL REY DE LAS MONTANAS" with a few follow up albums including a full length Tejano / Conjunto Album "SANGRE DE TEJANO :Tradicion De Mi Familia". 99.9% of all the music and all the Accordion solos were written and performed by EL MERO PERRO himself and this album also features expert Tejano Bajo Sexto Player, Lupe Cervantes and much more.
